Rick Aasen Eliminated in 5th Place ($5,313)

Level 16 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Rick Aasen
Rick Aasen

Action folded to the blinds, where Marshall Roof completed from the small and Rick Aasen raised to 54,000 from the big. Roof called.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Roof bet enough to put Aasen all in for his last 30,000. Aasen went deep into the tank, but eventually committed the last of his chips.

Rick Aasen: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Marshall Roof: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

Roof had Aasen in trouble with top set, and the {j-Hearts} turn and {4-Clubs} river kept Roof best — eliminating Aasen in fifth place.

Chao Huang Eliminated in 7th Place ($3,795); Anthony Luang Eliminated in 6th Place ($4,554)

Level 16 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Chao Huang
Chao Huang

Anthony Luong opened to 56,000 from early position and was called by Chao Huang in the small blind and Taylor Lipson in the big blind.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and action checked to Luong, who bet 160,000. Chao Huang called all in for slightly less and Taylor Lipson then re-raised to 500,000. Luong called off his remaining chips and all hands were revealed.

Anthony Luong: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Chao Huang: {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Taylor Lipson: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

Luong was in front with top set, but a {3-Spades} turn gave Lipson quads and a lock on the hand.

The {10-Diamonds} river made it official and Lipson scored a double knockout — sending Huang out in seventh place for having the least amount of chips and Luong out in sixth.

Huang led out for 200,000 on the {10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop and Geissel called.

The {7-Hearts} fell on the turn and Huang opted to check. Geissel shoved for his last 240,000 and Huang folded after a bit of deliberation.

Nicholas Bond: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

S.J. Bursts The Money Bubble

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
S.J.
S.J.

Taylor Lipson limped from under-the-gun and Chao Huang rasied to 38,000 on the button. S.J. called all in for less and Lipson called as well.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Lipson check-called a 60,000 bet from Huang.

The {2-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Lipson checked it over to Huang, who bet 120,000. Lipson again called.

Both players checked on the {k-Clubs} river and Lipson showed {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for a set of fours. It was good against the {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} of Huang and the {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} of S.J. and S.J. was eliminated on the bubble.

Lipson Doubles Through Huang

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Taylor Lipson
Taylor Lipson

On a completed board of {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, Chao Huang bet from the hijack and Taylor Lipson shoved in an already-bloated pot. Huang called Lispon tabled {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for queens-full, which was good against the {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} of Huang and Lipson doubled up.
