Lafuria's Bluff Doesn't Get Through

Level 31 : 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante

Joseph Lafuria raised to 500,000 from the button and was called by both Matthew McGuire and Thomas Mader in the blinds.

The flop came {2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Spades}, it was checked to Lafuria who continued with a bet of 650,000 which only McGuire called.

They both checked through the {8-Hearts} on the turn to the {5-Hearts} on the river. McGuire checked for the last time and Lafuria fired a bet of 1,100,000 into the pot. McGuire dived into the tank for a while, counted out his stack, took some more time, and then made the call. Lafuria knocked on the table and tabled {q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for the bluff. McGuire showed the {a-Spades}{8-Spades} for the pair of eights to score the pot.
