Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Greg Raymer
Greg Raymer

James Carroll raised to 6,500 from the button and Greg Raymer defended his big blind.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Raymer check-called the 4,000 continuation-bet of Carroll.

The turn was the {2-Clubs}, Raymer checked again. This time Carroll bet 14,500 which was called by Raymer.

The river completed the board with the {2-Diamonds}, Raymer checked for the last time. Carroll bet 8,500 and Raymer quickly called again.

"You win," Carroll said and Raymer quickly flipped over {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}.

Carroll looked surprised and then added: "That was the hand I was trying to get you to fold..."
