"So Much For Live Reads"

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Sachin Joshi raised to 160,000 from the button and Massoud Nooralian defended his big blind.

The flop came {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts}, Nooralian continued with a bet of 350,000 and Joshi raised to 650,000 after taking some time to consider his options. Nooralian confirmed the raise and then decided to shove with the bigger stack. Joshi snap-called for the 2,615,000 he had behind.

Sachin Joshi: {10-Spades}{8-Spades}
Massoud Nooralian: {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

When the cards were tabled, everyone including the rail looked a bit bewildered.

The turn was the {k-Spades} to give Joshi the flush and leave Nooralian drawing dead.

The river completed the board with the {q-Hearts} as a formality as Joshi doubled up.

"So much for live reads..." Nooralian commented while he watched how a big chunk of his stack was awarded to Joshi.
