Joshi Makes the Right Call

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Sachin Joshi completed his small blind and Chris Zelesnick opted to check.

They both checked through the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{k-Spades} flop to the {6-Spades} on the turn. Joshi check-called the 50,000 bet of Zelesnick.

The river completed the board with the {3-Diamonds} and Joshi checked for the last time. Zelesnick fired 200,000 into the pot and Joshi went through the options in his head for a bit before making the call.

"Good call," Zelesnick said and then showed {9-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for the bluff. Joshi quickly turned over {q-Hearts}{j-Spades} for the pair of jacks to scoop the pot.
