The World Championship of Online Poker has now added another champion here in WCOOP-94-H: $1,050 NLHE [8-Max, Progressive KO, Series Saver], $1.25M Gtd. The 1,516 entry field had just 85 return for the final day of this 2-Day event, and when the last chance saloon had closed for business it was Laurie "LaliTournier" Tournier sitting in the winner's circle, taking home a WCOOP title along with an impressive $182,595 in prizes.

The final day saw 85 drop quickly to the final table of and it was Tournier in complete control. She began the day eighth on the leaderboard and only moved up from that point on. Niklas "Lena900" Astedt was the only form of resistance between her and the title. Astedt got the best of her during seven-handed play, dropping her below average for the first time of the day.

She sat near the bottom of the barrel for the next several levels, picking her spots until just three were left, and then she kicked it into overdrive. A quick double came her way from "darkziv" who shoved air into Tournier's two pair. She then parlayed that double into a bounty when she flushed out Swedish pro Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson to end his tournament with a third place finish.

The back-and-forth heads up battle saw "darkziv" saved once by the river, besting pocket tens with ace-rag thanks to a bullet that completed the board. The Brazilian native showed no sign of tilt, stayed focused, and overcame the setback. She picked up ace-king versus a worse ace of "darkziv", and this time her opponent failed to suck out. Tournier was then dubbed the 94-H champ, making it the second WCOOP title won by her during this series.

A total of 1,516 entry slips were sold for the always entertaining Serie Saver event, creating a $1,516,000 prize pool that easily soared past the guarantee. The top 191 found a payday, with the eventual winner set to pull in $99,228 plus any bounties accumulated. Once the first day bagged, 85 runners were set to battle it out on Day 2 for a shot at the title. Poland's "Chmuri7" was the start of day leader but a cold run of cards sent them out in 31st.

An onslaught of eliminations saw players flying out of the event, and before they knew it, just nine were left in contention. Tournier had a commanding lead on the final table and began with an elimination, dropping Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski from the table first. Astedt and "darkziv then took over, pulling every pot until they eventually faced off. Astedt found himself on the shorter end of a blind-on-blind set-up, and all players could then take a sigh of relief as the always-intimidating Astedt took an exit.

"darkziv" ran over the next few stages of the table as Tournier held on. Yago "yhsimplicio" Simplicio and "sarpele1984" both hit the rail, laddering Tournier up to at least third-place money. "darkziv" bluffed off a double to Tournier, and Mattsson then bluffed his stack over to "darkziv". Tournier cleaned up Mattsson shortly after, setting up the heads-up portion of this event.

The Brazilian held the chiplead, but a few back and forth hands saw "darkziv" sit in the lead. "darkziv" then hit the rewind button, and once more shot complete air into a monster hand. Tournier played her boat like the best of them and doubled into the lead. The final hand saw "darkziv" limp-shove with ace-ten, only for Tournier to snap it off with her ace-king. "darkziv" failed to hit and was then dubbed the official runner-up, taking home a respectable $115,856 for their efforts.

That wraps it up for the PokerNews live coverage of this series, but tune in next time for all of the action.
