"Sebbo789" Gets There for Stack and Lead

Just before the end of the last level, "Sebbo789" raised to 50,439 early, and got three calls, including from "auteriM" in the cutoff. The flop came {4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and it checked to "Sebbo789" who bet 87,000.

Only "auteriM" called to {9-Hearts} on the turn, where they again called a bet of 150,000. They called again for their stack when "Sebbo789" shoved more on the {9-Diamonds} river, and when cards went over it was a gross spot for "auteriM".

"auteriM": {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}
"Sebbo789": {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

"auteriM flopped the boat, but the running nines gave "Sebbo789" the better boat on the river.

More than 12,600 players came back for Day 2, of WCOOP-91-L: $55 NLHE [8-Max, NLHE Main Event] from the starting field of 40,291. That huge Day 1 total blew up the $1.5 million guarantee to more then $2 million when the gates came down on the start of Day 2.

The $2,014,550 total prize pool was shared between 5,663 players, so more than half the starting players today would go home unhappy. The action went very quickly from the start though, and they were in the money within two hours of cards going in the air, in Level 23.

The whole day went about 8 hours in total, and after starting at the beginning of Level 18, ended just before the end of Level 44. "joaomarcello" from Brazil bagged the biggest stack, one of three players to bag more than 20 million.
