Grafton Finds a Fortuitous Flop

Level 13 : 3,000/6,000, 750 ante

Sam "SamSquid" Grafton opened from the cutoff, "pora adrian" raised to 30,000 on the button and "Bario_03" called in the big blind. Grafton called as well to make it three and the {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop rolled out.

All three checked to the {3-Hearts} turn card where "Bario_03" led out, betting 67,500. Grafton as the only caller to see the {7-Spades} river card where "Bario_03" tapped the table.

Grafton fired in 190,000 and "Bario_03" check-shoved for a total of 293,003. Grafton snapped, flipping over {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for a set of dimes, which triumphed over the {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} of "Bario_03" who flopped top two, just to send their stack to Grafton.

"anonymstruts" opened from the button, making it 12,600 and Christopher "lissi stinkt" Frank shoved 182,100 in the small blind. Andrew "dawhiteninja" Wool pushed over the top and "anonymstruts" quickly released, leaving just two.

Christopher "lissi stinkt" Frank: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Andrew "dawhiteninja" Wool: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Wool was in a commanding lead until the {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop hit the virtual felt, giving Frank a pair of jacks.

The {8-Hearts}{2-Spades} runout cemented it for Frank who pulled in the double through Wool thanks to a johnnie landing on the flop.

Peters Sits Down, Doubles Up

Level 14 : 3,500/7,000, 875 ante

David "dpeters17" Peters jumped into the event and during just his second hand at the table he already found his chips head into the middle.

Peters opened to 12,000 from middle position and "KingKomeron" three-bet to 37,800 in the hijack. Peters called to see the {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop and check-called a bet of 12,000.

The {10-Diamonds} peeled off on the turn, Peters checked and "KingKomeron" bet enough to put Peters to the test. Peters snapped for his 48,700 stack and tabled {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} for a set.

"KingKomeron" showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and had straight outs but a {2-Spades} brick send a double over to Peters.
