Last Chance to Find a Bag at the PokerStars Summer Series Starts today at 11:15 a.m.
The first two flights in Event #2: $2,200 No Limit Holde’Em at the PokerStars Summer Series at have been a huge success. So far there have been a total of 226 entrants with just 29 in the money and moving on to Day 2.
The guarantee is set at a massive $500,000. However, there is already $440,700 in the prize pool and today’s flight is likely to be the largest of them all. The guarantee is sure to be broken and there is still a possibility of it getting doubled again at Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia.
Currently there are some interesting storylines developing, including a pair of WSOP Main event champions who have found a bag and will be in the mix on Day 2. Joe McKeehen will make his second appearance on a Day 2 in this series while Jamie Gold will be making his first. The fans would love to see a lucky table draw with both players putting chips in the pot and battling it out for the title.

Event #2 champion Soukha Kachittavong has already found a bag and has now secured a cash in all three of the events in this series. He has also made the final table of both of the first two events and will look to make it three in a row. The PokerStars Summer Series has certainly been good for the crusher from Rhode Island.
PokerStars.com Online Qualifier Alexander Rolfe still holds the overall chip lead with a massive 1,033,000 stack and will be in the mix early and often on Day 2. However, with the third flight shaping up to be the largest of them all, there is a very real possibility that the overall Day 2 chip leader comes out of the field today.
Each player starts with 50,000 in tournament chips. Levels will be 40 minutes long on Day 1, with 15-minute breaks every two hours. The schedule includes a 60-minute dinner break after Level 9, while late registration and reentries will be allowed until the start of Level 13.
Day 1 concludes once 12.5 percent of the field remains, with Day 2 set for Sunday at 11:15 a.m. This is an unlimited reentry event, with players buying back in taking priority over alternates while space is limited.
