Cutler Puts the Chips In on the River

There was a raise in middle position to 1,000. It then folded to Evan Cutler in the small blind who called and the big blind came along too.
The 2♥2♠6♥ flop hit the felt and action quickly checked through to a 2♦ turn. Cutler took the opportunity to lead out for 1,500. The big blind folded but the middle position player came along.
The river landed a 10♣ and Cutler led again for 3,200. The middle position player then raised to 8,000.
"Did you really check an overpair on the flop?" Cutler said, but after a moment he put in the chips for a call.
HIs opponent said "Good call," and rolled over A♦Q♣. Cutler tabled A♣10♠ for a rivered boat and scooped a nice pot early in the day.
