The small blind called and then Kowal put in a large check-raise to 3,900. The button folded and action was back on the small blind who put in the chips for a call.

The 8♣ landed on the turn and the small blind check-called another 10,000 bet from Kowal.

The J♦ landed on the river and the small blind checked again. Kowal didn't take long before moving all in for 20,000. The small blind went into the tank for over a minute before making the call.

Kowal tabled K♥9♦ for a flopped two pair and scooped a massive pot early in the day.
