“st0neyDanza” Dominates Final Table of Event 29-M: $100 NLHE [8-Max, Half Price Jersey Special], $35K Gtd

The latest NJSCOOP final table is in the books, and it was thoroughly decimated by the eventual winner, “st0neyDanza”. They were one of two players over one million chips when play got down to the final two tables, and they held the chip lead when just nine remained.

They would add to their chip lead by scoring the first three eliminations of the final table. First, they busted short stack “bkglancy” in ninth place, after they shoved from the cutoff, only to see “st0neyDanza” call with a dominating hand in the small blind.

The next player to fall to “st0neyDanza” was Michael “mikeyeager” Yeager. It was a big coin flip at the time, with Yeager holding pocket tens, while "st0neyDanza" had {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}. The flop was no help, but a king on the turn quickly gave "st0neyDanza" the massive lead, which would hold on the river.

"CGarcia7125" was next to hit the virtual payout desk. They lost nearly all of their chips to "TrumpsDong", when they got unlucky with pocket kings. They would lose their final few chips on the last hand, with "st0neyDanza" once again laying claim to the bounty.

The momentum didn't last long for "TrumpsDong", who would bow out in sixth place not long after. They would commit most of their chips on the flop with bottom pair, but were no match for the pocket kings of "kid741."

"Kid741" would continue with the knockouts when they busted "jabjr95" in a blind vs blind situation. "jabjr95" would get unlucky, as their pocket nines could not fade the Ace-Four held by "kid741."

Fourth place would belong to "IGOTCRABZ_33", who didn't get involved in too many hands throughout the final table. They busted to the Ace-Queen of "kid741" who completed the hat trick of eliminations after flopping a queen to all but seal the hand.

The eliminations would keep coming, but this time, "kid741" was on the wrong end of things. They were down to under ten big blinds after doubling up "LynnaStars," and they would get those chips in preflop, trailing "st0neyDanza." Neither player would improve, and the ace high was good enough to get "st0neyDanza" to the heads up battle that had been assured for quite some time.

"LynnaStars" was able to draw things virtually even before losing the lead to "st0neyDanza." Then, they slow played pocket queens preflop, and by the turn, "st0neyDanza" had made two pair. They would fill up on the river to crack the monster hand held by "LynnaStars", who would have to settle for the runner up prize of $4,783.01.

“LynnaStars” Eliminated in 2nd Place ($4,783.01)

Level 32 (40,000/80,000/10,000)

“LynnaStars” had managed to battle back to even at one point, before falling slightly behind leading up to what ended up being the final hand of the event. “st0neyDanza” started the action by raising to 260,000, and “LynnaStars” flatted. The flop came down {j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}, and “LynnaStars” checked to “st0neyDanza”, who bet 243,000. “LynnaStars” clicked it back with a min raise, and “st0neyDanza” called to see the {8-Diamonds} hit the turn.

“LynnaStars” went for a big bet of 1,179,360, but "st0neyDanza” wanted to play for it all, moving all in for over 4.4 million. “LynnaStars” made the call with {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}, but the ladies were now trailing the two pair of "st0neyDanza”, {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. The {6-Clubs} river gave "st0neyDanza” a full house, ending the tournament in style.

“LynnaStars” will take home nearly $4,800 for their runner up finish, but the first place prize of $6,641.48 will go to the player who dominated the entire final table, "st0neyDanza."

Stay tuned for a full recap of today's event!

“kid741” Eliminated in 3rd Place ($3,540.67)

Level 33 (40,000/80,000/10,000

After trading double ups with "LynnaStars", “kid741” was left with just under 600,000 when they shoved from the button. "st0neyDanza" raised to isolate, and showed {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. They were beating the {q-Spades}{9-Hearts} of "kid741", and though they would pick up outs along the way, they were never able to catch up, as the board came down {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

With that, play is now heads up!

“IGOTCRABZ_33” Eliminated in 4th Place ($2,621.01)

Level 32 (35,000/70,000/8,750)

“IGOTCRABZ_33” was down to their final ten big blinds when they moved all in from under the gun. Two seats over, "kid741" put them at risk holding {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}, dominating the {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} of “IGOTCRABZ_33."

The flop of {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} left “IGOTCRABZ_33” drawing all but dead, and the {j-Spades} turn sealed the hand, getting play down to just three handed!

“jabjr95” Eliminated in 5th Place ($1,940.22)

Level 32 (35,000/70,000/8,750)

Action folded to "kid741" in the small blind, and they raised to 140,000. “jabjr95” moved all in for 418,000, and "kid741" called with {a-Spades}{4-Spades}. They were well behind the pocket nines of “jabjr95”, but that all changed after the ace high flop. No miracle nine came on the turn or river, and just like that, only four players remain!

“TrumpsDong” Eliminated in 6th Place ($1,436.27)

Level 31 (30,000/60,000/7,500)

"kid741" made it 130,000 to go, and “TrumpsDong” defended their big blind. The flop came down {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, and “TrumpsDong” fired 335,000, leaving just 600 chips behind. "kid741" raised to set those chips in, and “TrumpsDong” called it off with {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. They were far behind the pocket kings of "kid741", and the kings would survive the turn and river to get play down to just five handed.

“CGarcia7125” Crippled, Eliminated in 7th Place ($1,063.21)

Level 31 (30,000/60,000/7,500)

"TrumpsDong" looked to be out the door on the very next hand, when they got their final chips in holding Ace-Queen, only to run into the pocket kings of “CGarcia7125." The flop would miss completely, but an ace on the turn would flip the script, leaving “CGarcia7125” with less than a big blind.

That money would go in on the next hand, and it was big stack "st0neyDanza" who would put the final nail in the coffin.

"kid741" Gets Lucky to Double

Level 31 (30,000/60,000/7,500)

"TrumpsDong" raised to 120,000, and after "LynnaStars" called, "kid741" moved all in for just over 600,000. "TrumpsDong" moved all in to isolate holding {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}. They were dominating the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} of "kid741", and the flop came down {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, which actually gave "kid741" an extra out. That card would come with the {q-Diamonds} turn, and to rub a bit of salt in the wounds, a useless third king showed up on the river.

Michael “mikeyeager” YeagerEliminated in 8th Place ($787.05)

Level 30 (25,000/50,000/6,000)

"st0neyDanza" made it back-to-back eliminations after raising it up to 132,500. In the small blind, Michael “mikeyeager” Yeager moved all in for over 850,000. "st0neyDanza" called with {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}, and it was a big flip, as Yeager showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

The flop of {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts} missed "st0neyDanza", but the {k-Hearts} turn flipped the hand on it's head. The river was a blank, and "st0neyDanza" scooped a huge pot to increase their chip lead.
