Final Table Action

“PowerRanges” held a slight lead going into the final table, but was unable to generate much momentum as the other players began eliminating each other. “mangocoin” quickly took over the chip lead after knocking out “MotorCity510Reg” and “PowerRanges” fell short in 6th place after running {a-}{q-} into the {a-}{k-} of “anansipkr”.

“313pride” briefly held the chip lead after doubling through “RunLikeDiva”, but “RunLikeDiva” would double right back after running their pocket queens into “313pride”’s pocket 10’s and holding.

Shortly after “anansipkr” won a race and eliminated “iConvert13” in 5th place, the remaining four players agreed to an ICM deal, which meant each player would be paid according to their chip count at the time of the deal (with $2,000 set aside for the eventual champion).

“anansipkr” fell in 4th place shortly after and “RunLikeDiva” had a chance to double KO “313pride” and “mangocoin”, but failed to do so after their queens got cracked by “mangocoin”’s {k-}{3-}.

Heads-up play largely consisted of small pots, with “RunLikeDiva” gradually chipping away at “mangocoin”. “RunLikeDiva” would eventually eliminate “mangocoin” in 2nd place after cracking "mangocoin"'s aces by drilling a flush on the river after getting all-in on the flop as an underdog.

"mangocoin" Eliminated in 2nd Place ($11,102.33)*

Level 39 (200000/400000 ante 50000)

"mangocoin" opened the button to an even million and "RunLikeDiva" called.

The flop came {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and "RunLikeDiva" checked to "mangocoin", who cbet for 1 million. "RunLikeDiva" opted to check-raise enough to put "mangocoin" all-in for their last 5,165,676. "mangocoin" quickly called off and hands were revealed.

"mangocoin": {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
"RunLikeDiva": {5-Spades}{8-Spades}

"mangocoin" held the lead with their aces, but would need to fade spades to double up and survive.

The {2-Diamonds} turn looked good for "mangocoin", but a tournament-ending {4-Spades} fell on the river — giving "RunLikeDiva" a flush and eliminating "mangocoin" in 2nd place.

Stay tuned for a recap of today's event.

Level 36 (125000/250000 ante 30000)

"RunLikeDiva" opened to 500,000 from the button and "mangocoin" shoved from the button for 4,397,492. "313pride" also shoved from the small blind for just over 7 million and "RunLikeDiva" called to put them both at risk.

"RunLikeDiva": {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
"313pride": {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
"mangocoin": {k-Spades}{3-Spades}

"RunLikeDiva" was a favorite to take down the tournament right then and there, but the {7-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} runout left "mangocoin" with a winning pair of kings and "313pride" was eliminated.
