Lubas Also Scores a Double

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

After Mindaugas Jonuskis doubled up, it was time for the other super short stack Michal Lubas to get his chips in. With {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, he went for it and Patrick Bornicke called with {A-Spades}{10-Spades}.

The flop {8-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{7-Spades} added a flush draw to Bornicke's outs. As if it was scripted, the {9-Spades} landed on the turn for some excitement. The {7-Hearts} on the river paired the board to give Lubas the winner and the Pole survived.

Jonuskis Doubles Up

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Cenk Oguz raised to 155,000 from early position. Mindaugas Jonuskis shoved 335,000 all in and Oguz called off the few extra chips.

Mindaugas Jonuskis: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Cenk Oguz: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The flop brought both a king and a ten, prompting laughter from the table. The turn and river weren't the one-outer Oguz needed and Jonuskis doubled up.

Kamaras Slashed in Half

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Peter Kamaras
Peter Kamaras

Just before the redraw, a massive hand took place at the feature table that left Kamaras with half his stack once the dust was settled.

Rohde opened to 105,000 from under the gun with {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. Peter Kamaras called from the hijack with {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}, Mindaugas Jonuskis called with {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} from the cutoff and Robert Schunemann defended his big blind with {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

The flop was {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Rohde continued with 110,000. Kamaras raised to 240,000, Mindaugas and Schunemann folded, Rohne three-bet to 605,000 and Kamaras called.

Rohde might have been way behind on the flop, but the {9-Diamonds} on the turn suddenly made him a massive favorite. The German bet 415,000 and Kamaras came along with the call.

The {7-Hearts} on the river put a full house on the board. After some huffing and puffing, Rohde bet 520,000, leaving himself with 270,000 behind. Kamaras didn't love it, but still paid off the German and saw the bad news. Rohde picked up a massive two million pot and is one of the chipleaderes.
