Lee Off to a Good Start
The field has grown to 20 with the arrival of Malaysia’s Wai Kiat Lee, whom we caught involved in a sizable pot against Japan’s Jun Obara.
We missed the pre-flop raise sizing but arrived just in time to see the dealer spread the 
flop in a three-way hand involving Obara (small blind), Lee (middle position) and Bach Hoang Nguyen (button) with over 2,000 in blinds and antes already in the pot.
Obara checked the action over to Lee, who led out for 800 and while this was enough to get Nguyen to bow out Obara made the call to take play heads-up to the 
turn.
Obara checked once more and Lee fired a 2,800 second barrel, which Obara called fairly swiftly and the dealer peeled off the 
river.
The Japanese player checked for a third time and Lee bet big, firing out a bet of 8,100. Obara called immediately but could only tap the table and muck when Lee turned over 
for a rivered top set.
