Segundo Barte Eliminated in 18th Place (PHP225,000)
While Michael Falcon is still the chip leader the Dane has give some chips back to the rest of the field with both Chi Thinh Nguyen and Yo Seb Rhee winning hands against him.
However, the field is now short one Filipino with Segundo Barte busting at the hands of Germany’s Andre Peters. Despite doubling up through Michael Falcon shortly before the break Barte had been nursing a short stack for quite some time.
Action folded around to Barte on the button and he moved all-in for his last 104,000 and Peters made the call from the big blind.

Despite holding the best hand Barte was immediately out-flopped by Peters, who paired his jack when the flop came down . The turn was of no help and the river sealed Barte’s fate and he departed in 18th place making the equivalent of US$4,470 for his deep run while Peters stacked up to 1.65 million.
