Gall Takes From Bansal, Bansal Takes From Falcon
Germany’s Raphael Gall opened the action with a raise to 25,000 from the button and Uday Bansal chose to defend from the big blind with the flop falling , with both players checking.
Bansal then decided to seize the initiative with a bet of 50,000 on the turn with Gall shooting the Indian a suspicious stare and making the call.
The river completed the hand but not the betting, with Bansal checking the action over to Gall, who decided the right amount to bet was 100,000.
It was Bansal’s turn to shoot his opponent a look and after thinking things over he made the call, but could only muck when Gall turned over for a rivered top pair.
The German stacked up to 775,000 while Bansal dropped to 690,000, though he managed to win some from Michael Falcon in a battle of the blinds an orbit afterward.
We picked up the action on the river with over 100,000 in blinds and antes already in the pot and the board reading just as Bansal (small blind) checked the action over to Falcon (big blind).
The Dane fired out a bet of 80,000 and Bansal made a quick call. Falcon showed but this was not enough to best Bansal’s and the Indian player clawed some back, climbing to 950,000 after the hand while Falcon dropped to 1.44 million.
