Oh Wins One, Zak Wins Another
Following a slew of speedy eliminations there has been a period of relative calm. We caught a short-stacked Junghwan Oh limping in from under-the-gun with Chi Thinh Nguyen, Min Soon Lim and both blinds called to take the action five-way to a flop of .
With so many players in the hand the action was checked all round and the came in on the turn. This saw both blinds check once more and Oh lead for 11,000 with Nguyen and Lim the only two customers.
The river saw Oh fire again, this time for 25,000 and that was enough to take down the hand and the Korean climbed back up to 140,000.
We caught Elan Zak involved in a three-way hand immediately afterward, picking up the action on a flop of just as Michael Brunner (small blind) checked the action over to Zak (under-the-gun).
Zak fired out a bet of 26,000 with Jae Wook Shin making the call in the h-jack and Brunner calling also. Brunner checked the turn over to Zak, who bet 46,000 and that was enough to take down the hand.
