The Ladies Love Misaghian
We caught two-time Baby Dragon champion Kwok Chun ‘Derx’ Lai involved in a hand with Mazyar Misaghian and picked up the action on a flop of with close to 7,000 in blinds and antes already in the pot.
Lai, sitting in the small blind, led out for 3,500 and Misaghian made the call from middle position to keep the action heads-up to the turn.
This slowed Lai down some, and he now checked the action over to Misaghian, who did not take long to seize the initiative and fired out a bet of 4,700, which after some careful contemplation, Lai called.
The river saw Lai check once more and Misaghian tossed out a bet of 9,500. Lai did not take long to make the call, but folded as soon as Misaghian rolled over .
“I seem to be getting Queens every other hand at the moment,” joked Misaghian as he raked in yet another pot.
