Gosavi Gets Going
Badri Kedar Gosavi is getting off to a great start, opening the action to 550 from the cutoff and finding a caller in the small blind before big blind Sameer Rattonsey squeezed to 1,650 from the big blind.
“Well, that’s not very friendly,” quipped Gosavi tossing in the call and the small blind also came along for the ride.
The was checked all round with Rattonsey leading out for 1,300 on the turn after the small blind checked. Gosavi made a quick call and the small blind called once more keeping the action three-way to the river.
Neither the small blind or Rattonsey looked as though they liked that third diamond and checked, but Gosavi seemed happy enough to lead out for 6,000.
Once again the small blind made a speedy call to send Rattonsey into the tank for at least a minute, but he eventually folded leaving Gosavi free to show his cards. Gosavi triumphantly rolled over for the flush and the small blind mucked.
