Nguyen Annoys Kim
We picked up the action on the turn in a heads-up pot between a player in the big blind and SJ Kim on the button with the community cards spread .
Kim had moved all-in for 32,300 as we arrived though there had evidently been a raising war going on as there was a little over 5,500 in blinds and antes in the pot already and a bet of 15,000 in front of the big blind, who had around the same amount behind.
Eventually, the big blind chose to call off the remainder of his chips, turning over , which was trailing to Kim’s .
“Come on spade!” piped up another player at the table, Anh Nguyen.
The river was the to give Kim the hand and reduce the field by one, but the Korean player looked distinctly unhappy with Nguyen.
“Why are you calling for a spade?” Kim grumbled.
“It’s ok,” said Nguyen.
“No, it’s not,’ shot back Kim, “Don’t do it.”
Suitably chastised Nguyen sat back in his chair as Kim stacked up his new chips, climbing to 65,000.
