Garcia Outflops Wu

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Jack Wu opened the action from the cutoff with a raise to 3,500 and Wendell Garcia made the call from the small blind.

Garcia checked the monochrome {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} flop over to Wu, who checked it right back and the {8-Clubs} game down on the turn.

Now Garcia chose to take a stab for 4,000 and after thinking it over Wu made the call and the dealer peeled off the {5-Hearts} river.

Garcia did not take long to reach for chips, firing out a bet of 11,000 to send Wu into the think tank where he remained for a minute or so. With a stack of 34,000 the bet represented a significant portion of Wu’s chips but the Taiwanese player eventually chose to call.

Garcia turned over {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for the flopped flush and Wu mucked, dropping down to 23,000 while Garcia climbed to 89,000.
