Deadman Puts The Heat On

Yannick Michel opened and got two callers including Simon Deadman in the big blind.

The flop was and Michel continued for 1,275. With the other player folding Deadman check-raised to 3,000. Michel responded with a further raise to 7,300 and Deadman called.

The turn card was the and both players checked. On the river card Deadman led out for 13,200.

Michel asked to see how much Deadman was playing, it wasn’t much compared to the size of the pot. After agonising for a while he folded in frustration saying he thought Deadman had, “three of a kind.”

Deadman showed and collected the pot.
