Shane O’Neil Gets Lucky Double Through Sean Foley

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Shane O’Neil opened the action from the cutoff to 1,600. Sean Foley on the button three-bet to 4,000 and action foldd back around to O’Neil who gave it some thought and then moved all in for 12,400.

Foley asked for a count and called.

O’Neil was at risk and in trouble with his {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} while Foley had him dominated holding {a-Spades}{k-Spades}.

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Hearts}.

A volley of expletives came from Foley as his man wriggled away with the turn card that gave him the winning pair.

“You’re running bad today,” another player said to Foley of his big stack in front of him.

“Yeah but I thought that one was in the bag,” Foley grinned at the teasing as he began to see the funny side.

A relieved O’Neil collected his double up.
