Shane Buchwald and Rodrigo Chavez Continue to Battle

Level 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

Rodrigo Chavez was in middle position and raised to 800. Shane Buchwald was in the cutoff and three-bet up to 2,200. The player on the button called, as did Chavez.

The flop was {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Chavez led out for 1,500. Buchwald called and the button folded.

The turn was the {q-Diamonds} and Chavez bet 4,000. Buchwald immediately put in the rest of his stack, totalling 16,825. Chavez went into the tank and after a bit of banter between the two, Buchwald called for a clock. The tournament director arrived at the table and was giving Chavez his ten-second countdown, during which time Chavez announced, "Fold" and flashed {a-}{q-}. Buchwald looked at his cards and turned over the {j-Hearts} while sending his second card face down into the muck and scooping up his chips.
