Rodrigo Zambra

Rodrigo Zambra moved all in from the cutoff for his remaining 300,000. Action folded to Juan Sebastian Gomez in the big blind and he slowly peeled his cards. After a few seconds, he called.

Gomez: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Zambra: {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

Gomez was ahead with ace-high, and Zambra was the player at risk.

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Spades}{Q-Spades}{6-Hearts}, and Zambra was unable to catch up, sending him to the rail in sixth place.

All remaining players are guaranteed a payout of $29,600.

Franco Takes the Lead; Gomez Survives

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Christopher Franco
Christopher Franco

Action folded around to Juan Sebastian Gomez on the button and he moved all in for 320,000. Christopher Franco called from the small blind, and Amos Ben raised to 825,000 from the big blind. Franco quickly moved all in, and Ben tank-folded.

Franco: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Gomez: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Franco was well ahead with ace-king, and Gomez needed to hit his kicker to survive.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs}, keeping Franco in the lead with ace-king high. The turn was the {j-Clubs} and Franco rapped the table after he made the nut straight. Gomez began to stand up from his seat and shook Franco's hand, clearly accepting defeat. The rail yelled, "King!" and sure enough, the {k-Hearts} hit the felt on the river, giving Gomez a chop.

Franco took down a side pot from Ben's re-raise, and chopped the main pot with Gomez.

Franco has now crossed three million in chips, and Ben has relinquished the chip lead for the first time in about a day and a half of play.
