Manzano Gets Counterfeited on the River

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Alex Manzano raised to 5,100 from under the gun, and Rodrigo Borquez defended his big blind.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Borquez check-called a bet of 4,400 from Manzano.

The turn was the {k-Spades} and both players checked to the river, which was the {k-Clubs}. Borquez checked again, and Manzano bet 11,000. Borquez called, and Manzano revealed {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, but his pair was counterfeited and he played the board. Borquez revealed {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and ace-high was good.
