Alex Manzano is Chipping Up

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Rodrigo Borquez was in the cutoff and raised to 4,700. Alex Manzana was on the button and thought for a moment before deciding to call. Leo Fernandez was in the big blind and decided to come along and defend.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and both Fernandez and Borquez checked. Manzana reached into his stack and bet 10,300. Fernandez called and Borquez quickly got out of the way.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and both players checked.

The river was the {6-Hearts} and Fernandez checked yet again. Manzano looked back at his cards and bet 15,000. Fernandez went into the tank for about a minute before deciding to fold his hand.

Manzano has more than doubled the stack he started the day with, and finds himself within the top three stacks right now.
