Ladies Won't Do it for Mehamed

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Oscar Alache raised to 500 from under the gun and Joaquin Earcena called from the small blind. Alan Mehamed was in the big blind and three-bet to 2,000. Alache folded, and Earcena snap-called.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts} and both players quickly checked to the turn, which was the {7-Clubs}. Earcena reached into his stack and bet 2,000. Mehamed called.

The river was the {6-Diamonds}, and Earcena led out for 3,500 this time. Mehamed quickly grabbed some chips, but thought for about a minute before deciding to call.

Earcena tabled {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for two pair, kings and eights. Mehamed showed {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} for two pair, queens and eights and the dealer mucked his hand, sending the pot to Earcena.
