Daniel Negreanu Eliminated

Team PokerStars Pro is down to just Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier as Daniel Negreanu's run in the PokerStars Championship Main Event ended in 51st place.

Negreanu opened to 18.000 from the cutoff and Hossein Ensan defended his big blind. The flop was and Ensan checked. Negreanu bet 22,000 and Ensan responded with a quick check-raise to 55,000.

"Make it 100k," said Negreanu as he put in the corresponding amount. Ensan quickly went all in and Negreanu called his remaining 124,000 off.

"You got something good?" Negreanu asked.

"Set," answered Ensan.

"Set? How big? Not good" laughed Negreanu, who knew he was drawing nearly dead.

The on the turn ended it all for the Canadian superstar, who received €12,080 for his 51st place. "Good luck my friend," he told Ensan as he left the table.
