Kanit Finds a Double

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Fedor Holz raised from late position and picked up a call by Sergio Aido in the big blind. On the {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop, Aido check-called a bet worth 38,000 before the {2-Diamonds} turn and {K-Diamonds} river were checked behind by Holz. Aido showed {Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and won the pot.

One hand later, David Peters raised to 38,000 and Mustapha Kanit, who had just been moved to the table, shoved for 126,000 in the big blind. Peters asked for a count and eventually called.

Mustapha Kanit: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
David Peters: {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The board of {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{10-Hearts} ensured that the kicker played and Kanit doubled.
