Mrakes Loses Another, Sow Grabs the Lead

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Kalidou Sow
Kalidou Sow

Kalidou Sow raised to 90,000 and Michal Mrakes defended the big blind. The flop was {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{J-Hearts} and Mrakes check-called 90,000 from Sow. The Frenchman emptied the clip with a bet of 235,000 on the {7-Hearts} turn and 575,000 on the {5-Diamonds} river. Mrakes wasn't folding and paid off each bet.

Sow flipped over {Q-Spades}{10-Spades} for the flopped nut straight and Mrakes had to part with another million in chips. He's lost over three million in chips since the start of the day, while Sow is now the new chipleader with 12 players remaining.
