Mikhail Zamyatin raised to 12,000 under the gun and Igor Yaroshevskyy three-bet to 30,000 one spot over. James Salmon, who was to his left, then four-bet all in for 137,500. Zamyatin called off for 131,500 and Yaroshevskyy got out of the way.
Zamyatin:
Salmon:
It was a classic flip and Zamyatin needed to hold to stay alive. He maintained the lead on both the flop and turn, but then disaster struck when the spiked on the river to give Salmon the win.
Lucas Blanco opened early and called the shove of Adrian Gruber, who had about 50,000 in the small blind.
Blanco:
Gruber:
Gruber was ahead, but Blanco picked up outs when flopped. The turn closed some of those off as Gruber snagged a flush draw to add to his pair, but the river caused someone at the table to whistle at the sick ending.
Alexandre Viard was under the gun and moved all in for 60,500. Aleks Dimitrov was in the next position and called.
Action folded around to Steve O'Dwyer in the small blind and he moved all in for just shy of 200,000. Dimitrov asked for a count and eventually called.
Viard:
Dimitrov:
O'Dwyer:
Viard and O'Dwyer were both at risk to be eliminated, and Viard needing major help with just two sevens left in the deck.
The board ran out . Viard rivered a seven to stay alive and queens were good for Dimitrov on the side, eliminating O'Dwyer.
Steve O'Dwyer raised to 9,000 only to have Alexandre Viard three-bet all in for 23,000 from the button. Aleks Dimitrov then four-bet to 37,000 from the small blind and O'Dwyer folded.
Serge Pouliot raised to 10,000 under the gun and small blind Jessica Perez Borrego three-bet to 25,000. Once the big blind had folded, Pouliot pushed all in for about 155,000. Borrego didn't hesitate and called.
