Sarmiento Rails One
Level 7
: 300/600, 100 ante
Carlos Sarmiento has been busy since the last time we walked by his table and has just padded out his stack a little further, at the expense of Tim Uit De Haag.
Pre-flop it was Sarmiento in the driver's seat, accelerating up to 1,500 and picking up a caller in the form of Feng Wen Chen on the button before Uit De Haag squeezed all-in for 4,700 in total from the big blind.
Sarmiento made the call and Chen got out of the way to take the action heads-up.
Carlos Sarmiento:
Tim Uit De Haag:
While Uit De Haag had the best hand and a slight lead this was immediately nullified by the flop. The turn had one pip to many to aid Uit De Haag and the was of no help whatsoever and he headed for the rail while Sarmiento scooped the pot.
