Hands #62-70: Kaufman Doubles Before Break

Level 35 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante

Hand #62: Andre Akkari raised to 800,000 in the cutoff with {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Nobody put up any resistance.

Hand #63: Akkari, looking to keep pushing, made it 800,000 with {10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and got action from Raffaele Sorrentino and his {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} in the small blind. Sorrentino check-folded on the {3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop.

Hand #64: Sorensson opened things with a limp holding {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. Lachezar Petkov completed with {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Akkari checked the {a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}.

Everyone flopped a piece on {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. Akkari bet 575,000 and got called by Sorensson and Petkov. The turn brought a {7-Diamonds} and a round of checks, so a {j-Spades} hit. Three checks followed and the sixes took it.

Hand #65: Akkari completed the {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Sorensson checked with {8-Clubs}{4-Spades}. The board read {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{2-Spades} on fourth and Akkari bet 600,000. Sorensson called. The river was a {6-Diamonds} and Akkari bet 1,375,000. Sorensson tanked a couple of minutes and paid off.

Hand #66: Kaufman received a walk with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Hand #67: Akkari opened {7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and won the pot, with Sorensson mucking pocket threes.

Hand #68: Akkari opened with {j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} to 875,000 under the gun. Kaufman stuck it in with {k-Spades}{6-Spades} for his last 1,830,000, except he dropped some chips early on accident and it was just most of it. Akkari put the rest in.

The {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{k-Diamonds} flop meant a near certain double, and the {a-Clubs} did make for a sweat on the turn. Akkari rooted for a ten with his rail but a {5-Diamonds} fell.

Hand #69: Sorrentino raised with the {9-Clubs} in his hand on the button and Akkari defended with {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. The {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop meant Sorrentino nailed the flop, and he bet 750,000 and won the pot.

Hand #70: Kaufman opened under the gun with {q-Clubs}{9-Spades} to 1 million. Everyone folded and the players went to break for 20 minutes.
