Jaime Staples Doubles Again!

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Jaime Staples has doubled up a number of times today, and this hand is no different.

Ronan Gorey raised to 22,000 from under the gun and Jaime Staples defended his big blind.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Staples checked, and Gorey bet 30,000. Staples went into the tank and eventually decided to move all in for 167,000. Gorey thought about it for a moment and called.

Staples: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Gorey: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Before the {7-Diamonds} peeled off on the turn Staples yelled, "Nine!"

The river was the {4-Hearts} and Staples nailed his flush. As the dealer was sending him the pot, Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier said, "The flush is easier to make than a straight so..."

Staples laughed and responded, "That's a pro move I should've thought of that."
