Daniel Dvoress Smashes the Flop

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Daniel Dvoress managed to get his remaining 123,000 chips in the middle and was called by John Krpan.

Dvoress: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Krpan: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Krpan was well ahead and needed to fade one of three sevens in the deck. To his disappointment, the flop came {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}, giving Dvoress trip sevens. Krpan threw his media card on the ground and began getting up from his seat, but another player at the table informed him he had more chips than Dvoress.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and the river was the {3-Hearts}, securing the double up for Dvoress.

As the dealer was returning his remaining stack to him, Krpan said, "That's how you get rewarded for catching someone with their hand in the cookie jar."
