Bluff Gone Wrong for Efthimiadis

Level 8 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Georgios Efthimiadis picked a highly aggressive line on the river with the board showing {j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. He shoved all in with around 40,000 into the pot, while the effective stack was 83,000!

Marios Tzakos was his opponent and the shortest of the two, and he thought about it for a long time. He finally decided to call with {3-Hearts}{3-Spades} holding a set, and Efthimiadis was disappointed opening his own {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a middle pair.

Five-Bet is Good

Level 8 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Dimitrios Michailidis is ver aggressive in his table and it looks like he takes party in every single hand. Raises and re-raises, whatever it takes to make his opponents fold.

This time he was against Konstantinos Nanos, he decided to confront him with his own weapons. Michalidis bet 3,500 before the flop, Nanos three-bet to 11,800, Michailidis four-bet to 25,600 and Nanos five-bet to 65,000!

Michailidis quickly threw his cards to the muck and Nanos won a sizeable pot before the flop.

Two Hands with One Triple-Up and One Elimination

Level 7 : 700/1,400, 1,400 ante

A huge hand was under-way in one table and we caught the action when "Cossack" bet 25,100 from the cut-off and the {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades} were open on the board.

Leonidas Mavidis was on the big blind and called, while Georgios Efthimiadis raised to 61,000 from the hijack. Both his opponents calle and the {q-Hearts} fell on the turn.

Mavidis donk-shoved for just 11,000, Efthimiadis went all in for 145,000 and "Cossack" folded his hand after some thought.

Mavidis: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}
Efthimiadis: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The {10-Hearts} completed the board on the river and Mavidis won a pot of more than 200,000!

Right when this hand was evolving, the other table had a crucial pot too, with Dimitrios Michailidis shoving on the river of a {6-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Spades}. Bogdanov was his opponent and he called being covered, but mucked and stood up when he saw the {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} of Michailidis for a full house.

Big Fold or...?

Level 6 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Marios Tzakos is the last player that entered the event so far and we just saw him taking part in a big pot.

He raised from early position to 3,500, Sofoklis Chasiotis three-bet to 8,200 from the next seat and Leonidas Mavidis cold-called, on the very next seat.

When it was folded to Tzakos, he four-bet to 32,000 and Chasiotis folded, while Mavidis decided to call. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Tzakos had already declared blind all in covering his opponet, before the dealer opens the cardson the board.

Mavidis thought about it for a long time with 70,000 stack and eventually folded showing queens! Tzakos mucked and we'll never know what he had.
