Monsterdong Takes One Out And Chip Lead

Jonathan Karamalikis has just hit the front of the counts after taking out an opponent in a 40,000 chip pot.

All the money went in on the {A-?}{10-?}{7-?} flop with the opponent holding {A-?}{7-?} against Karamalikis' {10-?}{10-?}. The board bricked out and the opponent was off to the rail. Karamalikis moves up to 87,000.

Dunst Dents Lechich

Tony Dunst
Tony Dunst
Tino Lechich opened to 525 from middle position with Tony Dunst calling from the cutoff and the big blind player coming along for the ride to see a flop of {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}.

The big blind checked to Lechich who fired 1,125. Dunst made the call as the big blind moved out of the way.

The turn was the {3-Clubs} and Lechich fired again for 2,500. Again Dunst made the call.

They checked the river {2-Hearts} and Lechich flipped {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} but Dunst took it down with his {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}.

Dunst moves up to 35,000 with Lechich slipping to 12,000.

Guoga Out, Vos In

We were a little confused when we observed Mark Vos sitting at the seat that was previously owned by Tony G.

Vos is known for his pranks, so at first we thought he was up to something, but a quick double check of the starting list showed that Vos was indeed a late arrival and was recently moved from a far table to the seat which Tony G has apparently recently departed.

Calling Is Awesome

Jonathan Karamalikis emerged victorious from a seven handed flop
Jonathan Karamalikis emerged victorious from a seven handed flop
An interesting, albeit uneventful, hand just went down on table 30.

Preflop the under-the-gun player opened to 600, with six players making the call to go to the flop seven handed!

The mass of players then checked the {10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} flop. On the turn {3-Diamonds} the blinds and the under-the-gun player checked to Tim Duckworth who bet out 2,200 only Jonathan Karamalikis made the call.

They went heads up to the river {q-Spades} and both checked with Duckworth tabling {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Karamalikis rolling over the winning {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

"It's Not Stewart Scott's Day" - Stewart Scott

Stewart Scott needs some love
Stewart Scott needs some love
We caught action on the turn with the board reading {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} with an already good sized pot in the middle.

Stewart Scott had just fired out 3,500 chips and Claude Hatchadourian moved over the top for 10,000. Scott went into the tank before making the call.

The river {j-Diamonds} fell off and Scott made a defeated looking check and Hatchadourian moved his stack in.

Scott folded leaving just 6,500 behind. He then got up from the table and muttered "It's not Stewart Scott's day, today".
