There Is No Feature Table

Nik Lackovic: "Hey Mark, how is it over there on the feature table?"

Mark Vos: "This isn't the feature table, that's the feature table. They're all looking at you. I only have three railers, you have six..."

May the Fours Be With You

Mark Vos raised under the gun and it folded around to Peter Linkhorst in the big blind, who called with a sigh.

Flop: {7-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {8-Spades}

Linkhorst checked to Vos, who pushed in an enormous stack of 5,000 chips, easily enough to cover Linkhorst, who folded, showing {4-Hearts} {4-Diamonds}. Said Vos: "You win if you shove pre there..."

Just in the Nik of Time

Nik Lackovic
Nik Lackovic
Although Nik Lackovic had commented on Runnar Lindepuu's loose preflop raise from the hand before, this didn't prevent the chip leader from making it 8,000 from UTG with {K-Spades}{10-Clubs} on the very next hand.

Undeterred, Lackovic took one look at his hand, and pushed all in from the big blind with {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}. Lindepuu made the call.

The {2-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{J-Hearts} board was a safe one, and Lackovic doubled up to over the 60,000 mark.

"Come on Aussies," he smiled. "If I start getting chips, you'll all be in trouble."

Bullets Recoil

A patient, but increasingly short-stacked Charly Le Guillou would have been dancing inside when he look down at {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}, especially with chip-leader Runnar Lindepuu having made it 8,000 from UTG+1.

Naturally, Le Guillou pushed all in for a total of 18,000, and equally as naturally, Lindepuu made the call with {K-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.

For the squeamish out there, look away now...

Board = {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

Otto Blotto

It's a lotto
It's a lotto
Fedor Los raised to 7,500, Otto Göschl re-popped him for the whole of the Göschl stack, and Los called.

Los: {A-Diamonds} {J-Clubs}
Göschl: {K-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}

Board: {A-Spades} {5-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {A-Hearts}

Thus we lose Göschl, and we are down to two tables.

Wetemans Doubles Up

Jasper Wetemans was all ready to leave on the turn after getting the last of his chips in with {K-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} against chip leader Runnar Lindepuu's {5-Spades} {5-Clubs}, but the miracle backdoor flush came in, and he sat back down. "Yes!" he said, before qualifying it with a meek, "Sorry," aimed at Lindepuu, who didn't seem to mind.

Board: {3-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}

Dekkers Eliminated by Kia

Dekkers
Dekkers
Franciscus Dekkers raised from the cutoff, and then shoved when Farhad Kia reraised from the small blind. Call.

Dekkers: {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs}
Kia: {A-Spades} {K-Clubs}

Board: a relatively excitement-free {2-Spades} {3-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds}

Thus Dekkers is eliminated, and we play on.
