After a period of rather disappointing limp/checked small pots, Runnar Lindepuu raised his button and got a call.
Flop:
Both players checked.
Turn:
Marc Naalden bet out 70,000, and Lindepuu made it 200,000. Naalden thought about it for a while, his concentration briefly broken by someone walking into a gentleman carrying a tray full of drinks, which crashed loudly and messily to the floor. "In Austria we are normally keeping beers, not wasting to the floor," announced TD Thomas Lamatsch to reassure the railers, while a luckless hotel employee set about cleaning up the mess.
Meanwhile, Naalden announced that he was all in, and Lindepuu called.
Lindepuu: for two pair.
Naalden: for an open-ended straight draw.
River:
Kings were no good for Naalden, and Lindepuu enjoyed a full double-up to roughly a million.
Marc Naalden raised to 55,000 from the button, and Runnar Lindepuu promptly made it 170,000. Naalden decided to stop messing about and put it all in. Lindepuu made a raised-eyebrow "hmm" sort of face, and checked his hole cards one last time before waving them goodbye: he folded.
