Naalden Doubles Up; Stacks Are Even

Dealer Willi - resolutely refusing to deal the final hand
Dealer Willi - resolutely refusing to deal the final hand
The players limp/checked their way to the {6-Hearts} {A-Spades} {4-Spades} flop, which Runnar Lindepuu checked. Marc Naalden bet, Lindepuu called, and they continued.

Turn: {5-Hearts}

Again, Lindepuu checked. Now Naalden bet 105,000, and very quietly Lindepuu raised all in. Naalden called, and was this the last hand of the night?

No.

Lindepuu: {4-Hearts} {5-Spades} for two pair.
Naalden: {A-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} for a better two pair.

River: {J-Clubs}

Naalden doubles up to around a million, and the stacks are more or less even once more. We could be here awhile.

Moving On Up

Runnar Lindepuu raised to 60,000 and Marc Naalden called.

Flop = {3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

Lindepuu continue bet 75,500 and Naalden called.

Turn = {A-Spades}

Naalden bet 100,000 and Lindepuu called.

River = {4-Hearts}

Naalden bet 300, and Lindepuu called.

Naalden mucked immediately, Lindepuu was forced to show {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

Lindepuu Doubles Up; Poor Gentleman Loses His Round

After a period of rather disappointing limp/checked small pots, Runnar Lindepuu raised his button and got a call.

Flop: {5-Spades} {10-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}

Both players checked.

Turn: {6-Diamonds}

Marc Naalden bet out 70,000, and Lindepuu made it 200,000. Naalden thought about it for a while, his concentration briefly broken by someone walking into a gentleman carrying a tray full of drinks, which crashed loudly and messily to the floor. "In Austria we are normally keeping beers, not wasting to the floor," announced TD Thomas Lamatsch to reassure the railers, while a luckless hotel employee set about cleaning up the mess.

Meanwhile, Naalden announced that he was all in, and Lindepuu called.

Lindepuu: {10-Hearts} {6-Spades} for two pair.
Naalden: {K-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} for an open-ended straight draw.

River: {K-Clubs}

Kings were no good for Naalden, and Lindepuu enjoyed a full double-up to roughly a million.

Preflop Confrontation Leaves Lindepuu Shorter

Marc Naalden raised to 55,000 from the button, and Runnar Lindepuu promptly made it 170,000. Naalden decided to stop messing about and put it all in. Lindepuu made a raised-eyebrow "hmm" sort of face, and checked his hole cards one last time before waving them goodbye: he folded.
