As we approached the table, Gareth Edwards was sliding all of his chips into the middle on a flop of {10-Clubs}

. It was 6,100 to Daniel Perfeito and he verbally declared a call and the cards were tabled.

Perfeito held the lead with his overpair as Edwards was gambling with his open-ended straight draw. As Edwards called, "One time!" the turn bricked the {7-Spades}

but the river hit the {4-Clubs}

to complete Edwards' straight, giving him the double-up to stay alive in the tournament.

He's now back to about 17,000 chips.
