Hand #20 - David Lee

David Gorr has the button in Seat 2.

Action folds around to James Broom in the small blind. He completes. David Lee moves all-in from the big blind for 320,000 and Broom folds.

Hand #15 - Martin Comer

Martin Comer
Martin Comer
Grant Levy has the button in Seat 6.

Nali Kaselias cuts out a raise, and he first puts the 24,000 in the middle for the call. He then adds 90,000 chips to the amount, making it 114,000 total. Comer makes the call, and it's heads up to the flop.

The dealer spreads {4-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {10-Spades}. Kaselais continues out with 250,000 chips, and Comer moves all-in for 1,465,000. The two men are close in chips, but Kaselias is covered by just 43,000. He goes into the tank for several minutes, counting and re-counting his stack, with his head hanging down. Finally, he lets his hand go.

Comer flashes {A-?} {A-?}. Kaselias says he folded {K-?} {K-?}, but several players at the table, particularly Martin Comer, aren't believing a word of it.

Comer is now up to 1,973,000.

Table Dynamics: New vs Old School

There is an interesting dynamic at this final table, which features a nice cross-section of youth and experience. The likes of Martin Comer, David Gorr and Ray Sukkar have years of experience between them and have seen the Crown Poker Room grow from six tables to over sixty in operation here today.

In contrast, young guns David Lee, Kenneth Damm and James Broom bring the fearless aggression of youth to the mix.

Already we've seen these dynamics play out on the table, between David Gorr and James Broom, who are seated next to each other. In a recent hand, Broom intensely stared down Gorr as he contemplated his decision. The players exchanged some friendly banter, but in the end, Broom's intimidating presence was able to bully Gorr off the pot.

It will be interesting to see who wins the battle of new versus old school.
