Bogdanovski Bursts the Bubble Busting Rodwell

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

After 45 minutes hand for hand, the bubble here has burst.

David Rodwell went all-in for 116,000 from the small blind against the big blind John Bogdanovski,

Rodwell: {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Bogdanovski: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The board was {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-} and Rodwell stood up instantly as he saw the bad news. Other players still in have now made the money, and play continues in level 19.

Rehman Kassam
Rehman Kassam

With just 31,000 left, Rehman Kassam limped UTG with {k-}{4-} before Toby Giles raised to thin the field. Giles showed {k-}{10-} and had Kassam dominated.

The board changed nothing to send the Brit on a trip to the payout desk to collect $2,100.

Guerin Makes A Massive Laydown

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

In a big hand just before the break, Didier Guerin and Michael Oscuro tangled again. Oscuro raised under the gun to 30,000 and Guerin called.

The flop came {j-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The turn was the {8-Spades} and Guerin checked-raised Oscuro's bet of 58,000 to 178,000, and Oscuro called.

On the river {q-Hearts}, Didier bet 226,000 and Oscuro jammed to put Guerin's tournament life at risk.

Guerin took a long time over the decision, telling the table "I'll just be one more minute", before reluctantly folding.

Guerin showed {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for the folded set and Oscuro appeared disappointed, claiming he had a set of jacks.
