Byron Kaverman Not Long for the Poker Masters

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Byron Kaverman

Byron Kaverman jumped into play at the start of Level 10, and while he gathered some chips right away, he wouldn't survive through Level 11.

In what would ultimately be his last hand, Kaverman three-bet to 53,000 from the small blind after Fedor Holz had opened for 14,000 under the gun. Holz just called and then called a bet of 32,000 on the {4-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop.

Both players proceeded to check the {8-Diamonds} turn, and then Kaverman checked the {9-Hearts} river. Holz responded by moving all in and Kaverman burned through all three of his time extensions before calling off his remaining 160,000.

Holz rolled over the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}, and Kaverman mucked. Since it was an all-in hand, the dealer was obligated to show his cards, which were the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}.
