Lin Straightens Out Wang
Chen An Lin is off to a decent start, winning a sizable pot from tablemate Hao Xiang Wang. It was Lin the man in the driving seat initially, opening the action with a raise to 500 from under-the-gun. Hsu Pei Shun made the call from one seat over, with Wang (small blind) and the player in the big blind coming along for the ride.
So it was four-way action to the flop, which saw checks all around. The turn saw Wang take the betting lead, firing out 3,100, which only Lin called.
The river paired the board and did not slow the action any, with Wang reaching for a handful of blue 5k chips and splashing them into the pot for a bet of 8,400. Lin thought it over for maybe 30-seconds but made the call.
Wang triumphantly tabled for trip tens and looked crestfallen when Lin rolled over for the turned Broadway straight, which was good for the pot.
