The UK's Tom Alner boasts some impressive results in Macau with over US$900,000 of his $1.5 million in live tournament winnings coming at the poker tables of the former Portuguese enclave.
However, the Brit will not be adding anything to his resume today and will have to reenter tomorrow if he wants to cash this event as has not long busted to Japan's Takashi Ogura.
All the chips went in pre-flop in a three-bet pot, with Alner's pocket nines behind to Ogura's pocket kings and not improving to send Alner to the rail and shoot Ogura up to 72,000 in chips.
