Sukonthachartnant Doubles Through Ying

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Michael Addamo raised to 16,000 from mid-position and was called by Kui Song Wu in the hijack. Phanlert Sukonthachartnant shoved for 81,000 in total from the cutoff. Jing Hui Ying looked at his cards and also decided to shove in the big blind. Addamo quickly folded but Wu needed a bit more time to lay his cards down, which he did in the end.

Phanlert Sukonthachartnant: {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Jing Hui Ying: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The flop came {j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} to give Sukonthacharnant quads on the flop which meant Ying had to hit runner-runner nines to bust Sukonthachartnant from the tournament.

The {4-Diamonds} on the turn meant Ying was drawing dead and Sukonthachartnant was guaranteed the double=-up. The {k-Diamonds} on the river was just another formality to complete the board.

William Fasano: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Wu Wins a Bit; Chen is Back

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Kui Song Wu raised to 18,000 from the cutoff and was called by Shan Huang in the big blind.

They both checked through the {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} on the flop to the {6-Diamonds} on the turn. Huang bet 17,000 and Wu called.

They both checked again when the {10-Hearts} hit on the river. Huang tabled {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the two pair on the board with the queen-kicker. Wu took the pot down though with {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for the higher two pair.

While they were playing this hand, James Chen reentered and got seated at the same table. The hand right after, Wu raised to 18,000 from under the gun. Chen three-bet to 90,000 immediately from the cutoff. Action folded back to Wu who seemed tempted for a while but opted to fold.
