Feng Squeezes for Victory
Another familiar face has registered with China’s Yue Feng, who played Day 1A, returning to win himself a Day 2 seat. While it’s still too early to tell whether Feng will be successful in his quest he’s certainly got off to the right start.
It was Wingkei Chan opening the action in this particular hand, making it 150 to go from under-the-gun. Soo Young Kim made the call from the small blind before Feng squeezed to 550 from the big blind. This deterred no one and both Chan and Kim called to take the action three-way to a monochrome flop of .
Kim checked the action over to Feng, who fired for 850 and while this was enough to get Chan to give it up Kim made the call to bring the action heads-up to the turn.
Kim checked for the second time and Feng bet big, leading out for 2,150, which was enough to fold out Kim and win Feng the hand.
Four more players have now registered to bring the total number of entries up to 10 with China’s Lu Zou and Hong Kong’s Yu Fai Wu, Joey Ho and Wayne Heung all joining the action.
