Leung Goes One for One
Chunkit Leung opened the action with an under-the-gun raise to 600 with Fat Cheong Wong the only caller in middle position.
The flop fell and Wong’s cards were in the muck as soon as Leung reached for chips.
Unfortunately for Leung, he was not able to hold on to his new-found wealth all that long with the action folding around to Justin Chan in the small blind the very next hand. Needing no further encouragement Chan juiced the action up to 900 and Leung chose to defend from the big blind.
Chan c-bet the turn for 800 and Leung called pretty quickly. This slowed Chan right down and he checked the turn over to Leung, who decided to take a stab for 1,500.
Chan thought it over for a bit and then threw in the call and the river completed the hand. Chan checked once more and Leung decided to buy the pot with a bet of 3,300.
Chan thought long and hard before throwing in the call and Leung tapped the table, turning over with Chan tabling to take the hand.
